Hi everyone, we submitted the I-130 last March 29, 2019 at the Philippine Embassy. I would like to know if anyone here received a notice from them within 30 days? How long does it usually take for you to get a notice from them saying that they received the application, or to have a case number?

Plenty of cases here just in the DCF Section.  Did you look at any of them?

You can also search the vj timelines.

If it like Mexico, your receipt acts as your NOA1 and you will get an email when the case goes from the USCIS side to the Department of State side.

Hi @mikreed, good day.   We filed our petition in Manila through DCF, and by God's grace we received the confirmation of approval notice within the standard processing period of 30 days.  There were some applicants ahead of us who got their approval within 3 weeks from the time they submitted the Petition or the I-130. There are some cases also from our batch that they received their approval within 30 days also and some are  less.

Joshua, a music lover, and Tennessee born guy met Lady Lyn, a Filipina in an online Yahoo Christian Chat while both of them were praising God in a different way.  The latter was bullied by some chatters, and courageous Joshua rescued her like a damsel in distress, that was where a new chapter of life begun with the two of them. Their marriage is blessed in many forms including of rewarding them with a beautiful and joyful baby girl named Abigail Exodus Haltom which named perfectly represents their love and life story as a family.

I can only speak for my wife and I. We filed on March 5 of this year, and our approval was April 17, after we got an expedite around the first of April. (Illness back in the USA) We had our interview today, and the first interviewer said USCIS was in the middle of leaving Manila. With that said it might take longer, but for certain try contacting them. Here is the e-mail I used to contact them MPHInquiry.CIS@uscis.dhs.gov . You can also try phoning them (02) 301 2208 We did both, and it seemed to help.

Hi @mikreed have u heard anything from them? If yes, when did you receive your approval?

We filed last April 11, 2019, and we still haven't heard anything. I know someone who filed last April 1, 2019, and she hasn't heard anything as well.

We're getting anxious as we're hearing about the closing of the USCIS office in Manila, and how this will affect the backlog cases.

There plan is to clear up the backlog before they close.  They are no longer accepting new applications as of earlier this month

YMMV

Yes I heard they stopped accepting as of May 6, 2019. Where did you hear that they'll clear their backlog before they close? If so, that'll be a relief

Hello everyone! I tried sending them an email and they responded a few days ago saying that the petition is lined up for review.
Just today, I received our notice of approval. I will wait for further instructions from the mail with the case number and will update you guys. Thank you for all your inputs!

Hi @Skye1202 , I also recommend sending them an email at MPHInquiry.CIS@uscis.dhs.gov for updates regarding your application. They respond after a day or two.

I did! And they said ours is lined up for review as well. :) Your approval is such a great news. It means they are really clearing up their back log before moving to the states. Congratulations! I hope you receive your MCN soon!

Hello guys! I just want to update everyone. I received the case number 2 days after I receive NOA. We just need to do the medical exams and prepare the other forms then we'll be ready for the interview.

I'm just wondering, how much does the medical exams cost in St. Luke's?
