Green Card Before EAD & SSN

Hello, 

I am adjusting status from a K1 Visa in Michigan. I filed for the Green Card, EAD, and AP in December 2018. When I filed for the EAD, I selected the option on the application form where they will send you an SSN. I have not received the EAD, SSN, or AP yet but I have been informed by the Detroit office that my Green Card interview is on May 1. What happens if I receive my Green Card before the SSN? Will they automatically send me an SSN or will I need to apply again for an SSN?

If you get your GC before EAD/AP, they will discontinue processing your EAD/AP thus cancelling the automatic SSN application.

You will have to go to SSA in person to apply instead once you get your GC on hand.
