Hey my husband had an interview on August 20th 2018, and got 221g letter mentioning that he has to submit IRS transcript of the joint sponsor which I did so but they refused it then I submitted new joint sponsor documents. Few days ago I have recieved an email for my husband, saying that you have been scheduled to appear for an interview at US embassy in Islamabad thats all they didn't mention what to bring or anything, his medical got expire on Feb 8th 2018 I'm confuse what should i do, do i need to renew his medical or just go to the interview just like that? Can someone help me or had the same experience like me?

They sometimes ask for a second interview because they need clarification in your case.  It could be that something came up after the interview they were not aware of at the time or  they just need a more extensive interview.  Do not get the medical test done without confirmation from the embassy.  He will need the medical before they issue the visa but if they did not request it in the email I would send an inquiry.   Before our second interview we were instructed to get the second medical.

I just want to know what happened with your case? I have a weird situation. They asked for a second medical from my husband, but not a second interview.

His interview was Aug 2nd 2018, and we got an e-mail March 28th:

We have recently reviewed your immigrant visa case.  To move forward, please provide us with the following:
