Hi everyone,

I just wanna ask if someone experience that if they let you in if you go to biometrics even if it’s not your schedule that day? Thanks, just curious and did they ask you why you walk-in instead to wait on your assigned schedule?

Yes just take your biometrics letter and expired green card. My husband just did it 2 weeks ago and no issue.

Yes and No. I have known cases where they have refused early walkins too. However, a lot of people are able to successfully do it including me. Just go and don't tell them that you are early plus go at around non busy hours which is around noon or afternoon. So it is worth trying!

Thanks love_my_wife. But they will check the biometrics letter? What if they see the date and it’s not my schedule that day lol.. I don’t know if they will allow me to do the biometrics but thanks anyway for the info. I was just thinking if I can try to walk-in to my biometrics anytime soon but if not then maybe I’ll just wait.

Ofcourse, they will see the letter but they didn't ask me anything. Believe me, a lot of VJers have been successful at walkins. So just go in without any worries!

Thanks again love_my_wife 🙂 I will. And also is it ok to use the biometrics letter that I printed online from my USCIS account? I filed online and I don’t know if it’s ok to use that coz I’m still waiting the one they send from the mail. Thanks

Yes, it is the same letter but the print quality/type of paper may be different so I would suggest you wait for the original letter to arrive and then go if possible!

Ok, I think that’s a good idea. I’ll just wait for the original letter from the mail before I make plans. Thanks again 😊
