Thank you :) ..the more reviews I'm hearing the more relaxed I'm getting! I'm coming up from the Isle of Wight so it's an early train into Waterloo and then straight out on another to the Embassy so hopefully time for a cup of tea before having to head over!

I panicked a lot in the days before the interview over silly things like 'what if I answer something wrong when I'm under pressure and I toss £1000's and months of our time down the drain', I think we've all worried about that kinda thing. I found the entire day surprisingly enjoyable. I had my interview mid September last year at around 11am and it was great. Best thing to do is pack a nice sandwich and crisps for the train, get to the embassy, you'll be done nice and quick, and if you fancy it just explore London for a few hours before heading back.

I take it you're taking the tube to Vauxhall? It's just a 5-10minute walk from there. That was what I had originally planned to do, but then changed my mind to driving it when I saw the train tickets were going to cost me £150.

My interview is at 11:30 and my train is booked for 17:10 as i was able to get a return ticket for £20 if i went at select times so I am spending the afternoon wandering one last time around and enjoying the city, hopefully happy and celebrating not looking for the nearest pub to drown my sorrows lol

You're going through London so I wouldn't be too concerned with lots of evidence.  However, be prepared and ready to answer anything because things can sometimes go a bit odd with the COs.  You can read about my fiance's experience in 2017 here and in our case (having additional evidence on hand on his cell phone) helped to get us approval I believe:

I don't know what the London embassy is like but I had to hand over all my relationship evidence at the embassy in Sweden. They didn't interview me until they had looked through it all, I was there for a few hours. I even got questions on some of the "proof" during the interview, that way I knew they had actually looked at it.
