Received notice on 3/5/19 that NVC was sending K1 129F file to Juarez.  Should I do anything now to get ball rolling or simply wait for notification from CDJ? Thanks!

Check your status at https://ceac.state.gov It should be READY.

If it is, then you can fill DS160, and pay the fee to schedule the interview and biometrics. No need to wait for anything else, however you will get a letter from the consulate, take several copies with you because they will ask for it at the medical, biometrics, and interview.

Daniela, isn't that problematic as the letter may not arrive prior to the dates I have scheduled the appointments for?

Most likely the petitioner will get it in the mail, I've never heard of someone getting it by mail in Mexico. An scanned copy is just fine.

If the interview arrives and you dont have the letter, you can get it at the information window in the consulate.

Makes me nervous only because there are flights involved and lots of expense.  Do you know how long it seems taking to get notification from CDJ & then, how much of a wait to schedule an interview?

Interviews in Juarez are not available for the very next day, you won't get a date closer than at least 2 months. You have plenty of time and trust me, you can resolve the letter issue (in case you don't get it on time) very easily.

I just went throught the process and theres no need to wait for the letter to start planning the interview. In the worst case you can even change the plkanned date of the interview.
