NVC documents

Hi,

I am in need of advice. My case has been sent to the NVC for processing and i have uploaded all the documents that was requested. Only 1 document came back as the wrong one. I am in the US and applying for my wife in Malaysia. The document that was rejected was the Letter of good conduct. I followed the instructions that was issued and on the NVC website to where and how to get this document. I have even check on old post on this forum for an example of this document and its is the same document. I am rather confuse as what document they are requesting as i have spoken to the Police and Ministry of foreign affair in malaysia and they said that the document issued is the only document they have every issued to everyone who applied for GC for their spouse etc. Any other malaysian on here who have experience or have had problems like this ? Thank you in advance. This has been a long and hard journey.

It would be helpful to have the actual wording from NVC when they rejected the document.

There's no shame in making mistakes.  If you share your mistake, it might prevent somebody else from making the SAME mistake.

The mistake was not mine. My attorney apparently uploaded the wrong file and did not do his due diligence when it came to checking what went wrong. He is no longer representing my case. This experience has taught me that if you are good with filing forms and have a good grasp of English , forego the lawyer since they would be doing nothing at all, other than helping you fill the form and give you a list of items to go through, which is a waste of money. But then again, for those who are not confident with filling these forms out, then seek help from a friend, lawyer or non profit org. that helps immigrant with these issue.
