Hi everyone,

Is it normal for update to be done on USCIS casestatus even after your case has left to NVC over a month ago?

Does this mean anything relating to getting a case number from NVC

Do not always trust what is online.  What is your latest status?  Is it "Case sent to NVC" or "Case received by NVC"?

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

It's already with NVC. I was just curious about the status update since all I have gotten from NVC so far is wait as it takes up to 8 weeks for case number to be available.

There is nothing we can do except wait for our case number.  I send weekly emails to Ask NVC stating that they have the petition and I was looking for the number.  If the timing works we can get our numbers as soon as they are created and we won't have to wait for hard copies to track in CEAC.  Here is a link to Ask NVC

Yes, nothing but a wait game. Hopefully we will get it within the next 2 weeks

You are a little ahead of me. Our NOA2s were Jan 31 and Feb 1. One of my NVC responses said they received the petitions but they haven’t been processed yet. Online still shows “Sent to Department of State”.
