Hi Everyone
I need your help.
I want to know how long it takes to get an answer from USCIS about my Form I-290B, Notice of Appeal or Motion that they received it On November 26, 2018.
If someone had the same case please don't hesitate to tell me your experience ?

Thank you for your help.

290 appeal can be filed various ways. One way asks for an 'internal review' at the local office level, another way asks for a formal appeal to the higher ups. What did you ask for? What was the form that was originally denied? Why was it denied and what grounds did you appeal on?

If you do not wish to provide additional information then generally speaking appeals can take anywhere from 30/60 days to 6 months or longer.

Hi Thank you for the replay it was for adjustment of status by marriage after the finger print they denied I 485 the reason why they said after we called that we didn't send enough evidences of support but we they didn't get any communication from USCIS no calls emails or mail so we got a denied letter asking we can do appeal or motion we choose to do a motion and we sent all those documents they are asking for with I 290B and the fee almost 3 months and no answer yet only a letter saying that they received it and the fee . thanks again for your help and good luck to everyone .

On form 290B- PART 2 - there are multiple choices to choose from. Which did you choose? A B C go to the AAO- which takes a long time. D E F is handled local level. Did you get an RFE for the 864? Did you get any RFEs? Does the online system show one was mailed? Also when did you originally file? Did you include an 864? (Im only asking about the 864 because you mentioned support) https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/AFM_10_Standards_for_RFEs_and_NOIDs_FINAL2.pdf

Hi @Me & Him do you have any updates to your case? We are in the same boat as you with my parents’ case. We forgot to include the affidavit of support with the i-130 and i-485 (we did concurrent filing) and we got denied, so on March 3 we filed a motion to reopen along with the affidavit of support. How long after you sent the i-290b did you get a notice that they received it? We haven’t gotten any replies yet.
