Today I decided I needed some sort of promotional thing for my opening day. I was thinking maybe like a free biscotti with every cup of coffee or a free drink with a $5 purchase or even just free granita (which is super cheap to make) all day for everyone. Any suggestions?

Are you going to be giving out frequent buyer cards? You could give an extra punch on opening day too...

And/or have them drop their business cards in a fish bowl and draw for a prize at the end of the day.... free coffee... $5 gift certificate.... something like that.

Thanks everyone for your ideas!!!!! I think I will do the extra stamp on the frequent buyer card. That was a really good idea. Maybe the second day I will do the put the business card in the fish bowl. I can't do them all on day one! haha!

I like the coupon deal...if it's a good coupon, it will be worth coming in for, and it will make it a lot more likely that your customer would come back. Good luck...can't wait to hear how it all goes...good for YOU for doing it!!! :) M.
