Yeah I went to gambit finger printing services not the one I mentioned here. This was 9 months ago. :)

I emailed the embassy directly to ask about the criminal record check and this is what they sent me.  You need to go to the RCMP detachment and ask for a criminal record check under the privacy act.

Can someone please explain to me the process of getting a Canadian police certificate? I know it has something to do with the RCMP, but I am very confused, thanks!

Did NVC accept the Police Certificate with the Privacy Act Request Type as "For Non-Certified Criminal Information"? I have read on the other forums that "Other (Provide details)" was the correct one and is so confused because mine also says "For Non-Certified Criminal Information".
