They can all (mom & kids) change their names during the naturalization process .. and it is free to do so at that time.

How do the kids change their last names when only mom goes through the naturalization process?

There is a name change form that can be completed during the process (not the N-400 form) .. my wife was given that form and being the kids are automatically included she should be able to complete that form for each of them.  After all they could get certificates IF they were willing to spend the bucks.

Hi everyone. Another question, Since my husband is the only one that I need to file petition for, the requirements i need to complete is the form I-130 & I-130A?

and i saw that i need a proof of a bonafide marriage. I only have our marriage certificate which is less than a year old and photos of us together is that enough? Thanks in advance.

We dont have joint ownership of property

We dont have combined financial resources

I cant use our childrens birth cert because of the "wrong advise" to us before that Never use the fathers surname nor put the fathers name on the Birth cert.

Is there any proof you can suggest that I can add to my proof of a bonafide marriage?

You can go to the local registry and correct the birth certificates to have the father's name.

I was told that Its not that simple to go to the local civil registry to have the fathers name. I need to file it at court and need to pay big bucks.

By the way If I only have our marriage certificate and the photos isn't that enough? Do you think there's a big chance that it will get denied?

The requirements for the I-130 are clear and listed, you must have "some" of what is listed
