3I’m filling out the forms ( 130, i485 etc .)There are “SO MANY” questions that does not apply to me.

Instruction said answer all questions fully and accurately. I’m confused...

Do I leave it blank or type/print N/A for all question?

For examples:

1. U.S. Social security (if any) ______________

2. Apt. Ste. Flr. ___________

3. Name at birth (if different than above)_______

blah blah......

How did you guys filled it?

thank you

n/a means not applicable... none means you don't have it but the question is applicable to someone who's applying.

So for example if the question says "previous spouse name" and you've never had a previous spouse that doesn't mean it's not applicable, it just means none exists.. so ~none~ would be an appropriate answer.  But then if asks for their birthdate n/a would work because the question itself is no longer applicable since the previous answer was none.

so for yours

1: none or blank

2: leave blank

3: whatever your maiden name is if different than above, either blank or n/a would work.

Really it's okay to leave some of  these blank.
