We are preparing to file for AOS.  We are including the EAD and AP applications.

Instructions for forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 all say to include 2 pictures.

Does this mean I need to include 6 pictures?

Do I need to bundle the applications for each of the above separately?  Or can they be all in one bundle?

The G-1145 notification form, is there only one required or should I include three one for each document we are sending.

The form I-131 has the barcode at the bottom which changes as you enter information.  The PDF does not allow me to enter a "N/A" and other text as instructed to do so.  If I write the N/A by hand will this in some way invalidate the document?

I read another post on here regarding the expiration dates of the documents and how he was denied because the date changed between the time he sent it and they received it or something like that.

I noticed the expiration data on form I-131 is 12/31/18.  But this is still the latest data on the USCIS website.  Is this a problem?

Thanks,

Does this mean I need to include 6 pictures?  Yes, should be two per form section. We supplied 6 total in a ziplock bag just to the I-485 and had no issues.

Do I need to bundle the applications for each of the above separately?  Or can they be all in one bundle? Seperate into three sections, I-485, I-131, I-765 and paper clip the forms on top with all documentation after it. Just simple, nothing special.

The G-1145 notification form, is there only one required or should I include three one for each document we are sending. Just one

I read another post on here regarding the expiration dates of the documents and how he was denied because the date changed between the time he sent it and they received it or something like that. Don't stress over this to be honest. If you read enough you'll find every imaginable horror story but don't get stressed over it.

Thanks,

Do I need to bundle the applications for each of the above separately?  Or can they be all in one bundle? Seperately. i485+i864 in one. I765 in one. I131 in one. And then all together in one envelope. They get dispersed to different locations.

The G-1145 notification form, is there only one required or should I include three one for each document we are sending. Can send 3.

The form I-131 has the barcode at the bottom which changes as you enter information.  The PDF does not allow me to enter a "N/A" and other text as instructed to do so.  If I write the N/A by hand will this in some way invalidate the document? Handwritten in black ink. No problem. USCIS will process forms with pr without barcodes. If they see you wrote something they will know the barcode can not be used.

I read another post on here regarding the expiration dates of the documents and how he was denied because the date changed between the time he sent it and they received it or something like that. That person is exaggerating or it took a long time to get to the service centre in the mail. USCIS give you a leeway period of a few weeks where you can use the old form OR the new form without penalty.

I noticed the expiration data on form I-131 is 12/31/18.  But this is still the latest data on the USCIS website.  Is this a problem? No problem. Just check that it hasnt changed the day you mailed it.

Thanks,

Appreciate all the answers.

I find that I overthink these things.  After about the 20th or 30th time I read the instructions I finally get it.

I'm glad I am not paying a service to do this part.  I paid to do the K1 Visa and it all turned out well in the end, but I could have easily done it myself.

This forum is awesome for information but you do tend to get a lot of horror stories also, so something I find myself second guessing things.
