I changed my last name from my maiden name. (I am the beneficiary) I now have a new passport and documents have my new name. Is it necessary to notify the uscis about it or they will change it during my interview?

No, come NVC time you’ll provide new name info on Ds-260. Besides, immigrant visa will be issued in your passport name.
