Do you have to take Fiance or mother-in-law to interview?

Hey,

I know this is a weird question but I've noticed lots of VJ'ers bring either their fiance or their future mother-in-laws to the interview...

Just want to make sure we can just brave that day alone..

Yes, lots of people go alone. I will probably go alone.

Hi,

I went alone to the interview. I took a couple of extra days as well to enjoy the sights of Vancouver. I was in and out and had my visa in a matter of an hour. Gene couldn't come up, which was fine with me as instead of being at the interview, he came for Christmas that year, which he couldn't have done, had he come to the interview!

I went to mine with my husband. I was going to go along but we made a mini-vacation out of it and stayed in Vancouver for 4 days.

My husband said he was glad I wasn't going to interview, I'm a bit obsessive.......ok Im a lot obsessive........OK OK IM NEUROTIC ..... anyway he said I would have made him more nervous and not let him sleep

If Mel can get a few days off, and if he doesn't have his son at that time, I would love for him to come. I would love for him to see Vancouver!

But I would also enjoy a few days on my own, a hotel room to myself and spent some time wandering.

Andre went alone. He was much calmer without me. There's no need for the fiance to go along....after filing all the darn paperwork, they should be able to figure out you are serious about wanting that person to get a visa. Taking along someone else is for your own support only.

I second that one Cassie!!!... if Bren goes to the interview, heck will break loose. He can get pretty effing paranoid LOL. So I'm going by myself... though we will both go to enjoy the sights of La Belle Province for a week - the honeymoon we never had cuz of his darrrnnnnn doctoral research!!!

My fiance came with me to my interview, but it wasn't necessary.

I was the only couple there for K-1 Visas that had their significant other with them for the interview. We all got our visas that day!!!

I'm hoping to bring my husband, but will most likely be going el solo. As for bringing my mother in law, that's just a plain "Hell NO!!!"
