Do passports come in separate envelopes?

Yesterday, my husband and I both got a text from 2go saying our passports are to be delivered. We both waited for a day but it didn't come. Today , we waited again but no courier showed up. Until around 7pm someone texted my husband saying he's from 2go and he's ready to deliver his passport. Unfortunately, my husband was out doing errands and didn't leave any authorization with me. So the courier said to pick up the passport at a 2go branch. I asked for my passport but the courier said he doesn't have it.

My husband and I went together for the interview. Do you know if our passports are in one 2go envelope? Or will it come in separate envelopes? I'm anxious to know where my passport is coz I don't know how to track it. 2go e tracking keeps saying invalid.

i hope someone can answer my question.

If it is the "old" way your passport will be with the package and will be on the outside. Why do they have both passports? Usually only the beneficiary submits their passport at the interview. BTW I would love to see what the package looks like before you open it, can you take a picture and post it. Thanks.

When your wife and kids got their visas were all the passports together, or did they arrive in separate envelopes?

Each had their separate envelopes. Funny thing is that Mom's came one day and the next day the kids visas came.

That's what I have heard so I am curious as to what the recipient is referring to. With her answer we should know more concretely if there is a "new way" of processing.

No more case file envelopes.

A few have reported back that they only received their visa in the package, the DO NOT OPEN envelope is history and is an e-file now.
