Yay, glad I could help! Yes, I would think so too. Ahh, he's awaiting Canadian citizenship...no wonder it's taking so long! I got my citizenship when I was a kid, so no worries for me there, hehe. I agree with you that it'll probably all be easier once he gets his citizenship. It's a lot at once, but I'm sure it will all be worth it! Good thing the dates don't overlap! And at least you're not in a rush...I'm sure it will all work out!! Keep us posted!!

Thank you! Oh and our interview is next week, the 27th. He's getting his chest X-rays as we speak! And his citizenship test is April 10th, so PHEW that was a close call.

Nope. It only means that the NVC has received your file. For K visas, just ignore what it says in the box, it's not relevant.

If I remember correctly, no... if by instructions you're thinking of P3, that won't come until your case reaches the consulate. Should just be a couple weeks.

Ah okay, so there’s still some time! Yeah, close call, but it looks like it’s all working out! You’re not rushed, but you don’t have to wait tooo long!!

Awwww, don't worry too much. I know that's easy to say but if you've no notice of a problem there likely isn't one. I do hope you get notified soon and you get your VISA. Stay positive & remember it will end soon.

Hi guys. I got my medical results this morning. I'm wondering if the embassy will give me copy of medical? as far as I'm remember I need a copy for vaccines right?

No. Dr. Cheema's office should have given you 2 envelopes. One with DO NOT OPEN on it, and the other has your xray and immunization records.

You give the 'do not open' packet to the CO at the interview and you keep the other one for POE and your records (they told me that POE will take the CD, but I can't verify if they actually do or not).

Oh I see.. Thank you..  they gave me one big envelope, small brown envelope I believed this is the cd and 2 pages that are all stapled together. I guess this 2 pages are for me and I can removed it for being stapled? I just dont wanna do some mistakes and getting anxious about tomorrow for my interview.

If you are unsure, then keep it how it is and hand it in at the interview. The CO that takes the paperwork, will hand you back what's not needed or relevant.  🙂

I just removed it. 😂 I checked and it was my vaccine record. Also I also checked the cd brown envelope. There's a note there saying that I need to bring the cd into the US and keep secure for any follow up medical evaluation. It stated too that this should not be given to Customs and border protecion at the U.S port of entry.

Well that's good to know. They told me I needed the cd for POE and to keep my vaccine records in case I needed them down the road. I never had a note or anything.

Did you have your results mailed to you?

I picked it up from montreal medisys. It was actually fast. I had my medical last thursday and they sent me an email yesterday that its reaady for pick up. I hope its not issue that I removed it for being stapled together. 😂 But I didn't opened any envelope. I'm just curious about the two pages if that's my vaccine record. This visa interview is making me really anxious. 😅

Ahh I had mine here in BC and picked up the results in person.

The Consulate for sure only takes the taped 'do not open' envelope. Your immunization records are yours. They have those in the packet that you hand over.

Don't stress too much about the interview. It's really not so bad once you're in there. Go in with confidence and faith that everything will be smooth sailing and the second you get that pink paper, you will feel the weight lift.

I was very nervous too. Especially with having 3 k2s. I couldn't even eat the entire day before (I probably could have used some Ativan haha).

You will be just fine.
