Thank you!!! We got the text today that USCIS got the documents and the case number (LIN), so the case will be handled by the Nebraska Service Center. Current timeline for NOA2 is anywhere between 7-9 months.

You are welcome!

My husband was petitioned by his USC son. Thanks God everything were approved without any issues. He will comes to US this weekend for its first time. The whole process was about a year.

How long did he wait from after interview date to receiving his passport with visa?

Hello! I filed for my father in Dec 2018. Here's the short timeline:

12/21/2018 - USCIS received the I-130

08/09/2019 - USCIS approved, sent to NVC

10/09/2019 - NVC sent the petition back to USCIS for administrative action.

Any ideas as to why it would be sent back for administrative action? Thanks, all!
