4 months or so seems normal, as always never book tickets until visa is in hand.

Agree with Boiler - never book your flights until you have your visa! 

 

My husband has not yet received his visa (interview is in two weeks) but our I-130 was received in London on 30 July and our LND number arrived 11 weeks later. I would expect to be waiting approx. 3 months to receive the LND number, then another month to complete medical and interview.
