That is why I wanted them to know that they can save money if they can add them now.  If not it will require separate fees later.  That was one of those little "aha" moments I had when switching from K-1 to CR-1.  It was $1,605 for the 3 I-130s when the K-1 with 2 K-2s was just $535.

Good point. Although the I-485s would have to be at the full ($1140/each) price since they won't be filing at the same time as the primary immigrant. So most of those petition savings get negated.

I anticipate more "aha" moments.  I haven't gotten that far yet so I am learning new things everyday.

You won't see (many of) them since you're doing a spouse visa now, so no AOS is needed.

But you will need to pay the Immigrant Fee ($220) for each immigrant after approval of the visas in order to get the physical green cards after POE.

All children must be listed on the I-129F, whether they are applying for a visa or not.    If your children are not Following to Join within a year of receiving your visa, they will need a different visa process.

 

There is no reason to complete a DS-160 for your children as they will not be applying for a visa along with you.

 

You (your then husband) will have to complete petitions, I-130, for each of your children in 2-3 years.
