In applying for adjustment of status from k1 is it necessary that the k1 holder is resigned from his job in the philippines? In the form for adjustment a certain question is ask regarding employment. Thank you

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

If they file the proper paperwork correctly, sure. Resignation in a foreign country is not a question on the form or consideration for eligibility.

 

Although it does beg the question of why he hasn't resigned given that he left the country.
