I am totally with you on this. why is vermont center so slowwww? In another post, someone with PD Feb 2014 has already got his welcome letter and begun to go through NVC process. One weired thing is that the case summary shows one update on 12/07/2014. However I don't know what is updated for my case. what does it say in your case status?

What did you mean that your case summary shows one update on 12/07/2014? The only update I see is that my case was received.

you can open an account there and then add the case number in your cases page. And it usually shows more information than a simple inquiry. For whatever reason, it shows my case was last updated on 12/07/2014.

It can also show you when you requested a change of address, online inquiry, etc.

Hi! Guys. We are in the same situation as yours.  Our PD is April 2013.  Vermont Center as well. F2B.  I guess the backlog is huge, but our Pd is getting closer, and still no news from them!

We talked to our lawyer, and she explained that we had to wait for 72 months until the I-30 to be approved. So if any of you receive information from them, let me know. I will share my experience in the event that I get some information.

Thanks for sharing. What do you mean we had to wait for 72 months? I understand it says processing timeframe is 72ish to 95ish months. Is there some rule that they won't process case until it's lower end timeframe which in our case is 72 months?

Right now, it is 73 months and more. In my case, it has been more than 74 months.
