OP, I have seen a LOT of mental health worries go through Knightsbridge over the years. There have been cases quite severe with physical scarring They all got visas.

Some are asked for more more information from the GP. It can be a little delay. So what? This isn't a race. Yes you can attend your interview without the medical being there.

The worst case scenario, when there was nothing clear to ease the mind of the Knightsbridge doctor, was the applicant having to return to Knightsbridge and speak to a psychiatrist. The clinic just wants somebody else to say you're okay so they don't take the sole blame if they clear a future maniac or mass shooter type to immigrate. I'm sure your GP will take care of it just fine.

Ok thank you for your reply. I’m not in a hurry as I don’t plan on moving until Feb I was just worried about being denied. I’m working on getting everything needed from my GP ASAP so if Knightsbridge wants to do some more observations then we can get it organised. My only thing is getting approved I’m not worried about how long it will take. Thanks again I really appreciate it

hey, i OD'd in 2016, when i went to knightsbridge they just wanted it in writing from my doctor that i was safe, and well, and wanted specific dates, what i had taken etc. whether or not it's true, knightsbridge just told me that they want every i dotted and every t crossed so that they can't be told they didn't carry out a full examination and have the medical passed back. anyway, don't worry, you aren't being judged, just being asked for the whole story.  i,e you od'd on your medical summary, but is that due to being a heroin addict, or was it an accident, or did you have other issues? you don't get denied for going through trauma x

Thank you I really appreciate you sharing your story and for the help. I was so nervous going into the medical because of that. Thank you for calming my nerves, I’ll make sure the doctor writes everything up properly this time x
