When to complete DS-160

So, I know this has probably been answered a million times but I'm just trying to get myself organised.

Case is at NVC and we now have case number assigned. I've got my medical booked in Knightsbridge for November 20th and hopefully our case will be in transit on the next batch to leave NVC around 13/14th.

I just want to know when I should complete the DS-160? Should I wait until closer to when I can book my interview? I know that with London once our case goes to "In-transit" or thereabouts I should be able to go online and book my interview which if I'm very lucky might be around this time next week.

Since u have nvc number u can do ur ds-160. Once u have filled out ds-160 u can try and book interview. Some have been able to book interview few haven't been able to till it states at embassy. Wait about 24hrs after u finish ds-160 to book interview.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Follow the plan. DS-160 is first. Nobody looks at it or reviews it until interview day. It just sits there.
