i765 timeline query - (c9)

Hi, can someone please clarify something for me.  I did my K1 and now applying for green card etc... I applied for my work card under category c9 at the national benefits center.  I need to know if the timeline showed on the website is for that employment authorization and not for a different type?

I understand visajourney isn't official data but its a hell of a lot more reliable than the USCIS page and call centre.  Any help will be appreciated.

It covers any I-765, although the timelines are pretty consistent across reasons for needing one. Expect ~4-6 months.

9/25/17: sent forms to Chicago, 9/27/17: received by USCIS, 10/4/17: NOA1 electronic notification received, 10/10/17: NOA1 hard copy received. Social Security card being issued in married name (3rd attempt!)

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

well my date is June 25 so going by that data it is only a couple of days away.  I just wanted to know if I should be getting excited now or not.

On average...every case is unique so I would look at the entire range most people are seeing (4-6 months). That estimate would include people who expedited their EAD, so that might slightly skew it.

But yes, in all likelihood you will be hearing something soon. :)

Keep in mind VJ extrapolates its data from the timelines of members not the USCIS processing times...
