I see that DVDs must be declared upon entry.   Anyone have experience?  I want to bring my dvd collection to remain at the house

YMMV

Nope don't need to declare them if they are for personal use.

Way back when I declared my collection of DVDs that I brought with me, about 50 of them for that trip .. agent asked me if I brought them to the Philippines to sell .. I told him they are for my personal use while visiting, he smiled and told me I do not need to declare them if they are for personal use.

Thanks.  Maybe I will bring them in two tranches as the personal use might not be so believable because it is a suitcase full

YMMV

Well may as well throw this question in the ring as well. I am bringing christmas//birthday gifts into the Philippines. Do those have to be declared? Last time I brought gifts, no one batted an eye let alone asked.

One trip we had 6 tablets (gifts), 3 phone and 2 laptops  ..   we declared nothing.  No issues.   Personal use .. no problem.
