I got an rfe for son, we only had one document that stated mother's name and sons name together so did the dna test which says 99.99998%. Got a text message just now that the case appeal was dismissed but we never filed for an appeal, we just reponded to the RFE. Has this happened to anyone, are they denying it?

Just ignore it. Call USCIS if you want to be sure.

I got the same notice for my ROC even though I never appealed anything. Its just their systems being stupid.
