Is form G-325A required?

The G-325A is no longer needed.

I-130a and the new I-130 render the G325a obsolete in these cases.  However, please clarify whether you are adjusting status from within the USA or intending to obtain a visa to immigrate to the US from abroad.  Visa applicants NEVER apply for green cards.  They apply for immigrant visas.  Using the immigrant visa triggers production of a green card.
