Address change help

I have lived in the same address since I received my green card. I am traveling out of the country for 4 months and am eligible to apply for my n400 mid January 2019. But I will also be moving to a new address as soon as I get back to the US and will also be filing a week after I return to the US.

 

I will still be using my old address as the permanent address. Is there any issue in using my new address as my current address when filing for my n400 or is it better to file using the old address, even if I’m not living there anymore and change it to the new address after filing the n400? The old and new addresses are basically a few miles away from each other but still in the same jurisdiction/district.

You must be living in the same jurisdiction for 3 months prior to being eligible to naturalize:

Why not just wait until you move and file from your new address?  It doesn't sound that far off from now....and will make things less complicated for you in the end (ie. fear of misdirected mail, or remembering to file the AR-11, or the AR-11 not updating in the system and mail still being sent to the old address---which has happened to members before).  

Plus, since it sounds like you're moving within the same state/jurisdiction, you still fulfill the 3-month residency requirement.
