Tax Transcripts Redacted policy

Well due to spilling coffee on my transcripts I got just before this policy went into effect I can only get tax transcripts under the new system.  Well I was kinda surprised that they made this change didnt notice till putting together my i-134 packet.

 

Does anyone have information on if the consult will accept them.  I have my W-2 for the past 3 years and my previously filed tax returns "JUST IN CASE"

If you dont know what i'm talking about.

 

My transcript only has:

Last 4 of social

Name and address only partially filled out.  Like last name only with 4 letters only

address with only first 5 digits.

The most recent I-134 and I-864 instructions still state to that you can use a tax transcript, so I wouldn't expect any difficulty in doing so unless those forms/instructions are updated stating otherwise.

The CO makes a final call as always.

My only fear is it doesn’t provide my name or complete identifiers for them to verify who the transcripts belong too.

According to the IRS website it does have enough info.  I would have the foreign fiance take a copy of the complete tax returns as well if possible but not offer them unless asked for specifically by the consulate or embassy.
