Happy Friday to everyone!

I had my interview at the US Embassy for my visa on October 11th, all it was very good except that we missed the correct version( legal version) of the marriage certificate. The consular officer asked to send it via DHL what we did 2 days later.
When I checked the status on the caec website he said "Adminitrative Processing" and the CGI said "my passport is still with the consulate".

1.- Is this normal? A week after the interview.

2.- Are there people here who have or are experiencing this?

3.- For people from Haiti after how long after the interview do you pick up the passport?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Have there been any updates on your case since you submitted your documents on the CEAC website? AP can range from a few weeks to months depending on the case. I’m in AP as well. Interview was the 19th of sept. Interview went well but Got 221g due to divorce papers saying they need to do further review on my case no documents requested. Sept. 28th received email requesting confirmation of fiancé’s divorce , sent requested documents in along with his passport on 10/10, CEAC status updated/received on 10/12 still says AP, & it updated again yesterday 10/19 but still says AP. That can mean they’re working on my case & approving me/sending us the visa or it can mean they’re still doing further work on my case. That’s what sucks about AP with a 221g you just never know. They can take as much time as they want. But hopefully you hear something back soon, especially if your interview went well.

Yes my case was update after the interview October 11th. And I suppose they receive the document that I sent to them on October 16th. That's all.

Hey! Any update on your case yet? We’re still in AP after sending the requested documents along with passport though DHL... just wanted to know if you received an update.

If they have your passport. You will get the visa. Don’t worry
