So my fiance had his interview on the 17 of October and the K-1 was approved. On the CEAC website his status in the past couple of days has gone from

ready 10/16->AP 10/17->ready 10/17->Application Received 10/18

I was wondering if they will be emailing us once it's issued and if we get a DHL tracking number. If we don't is there a way to track it once it's at DHL?

Thank in advance,

Siren

You'll probably see Administrative Processing next.  Don't freak out.  Mine did that and within 4 hours it went to approved.

I can't say that's how yours will go, but you should have the most exciting news ever after that.

It will say ISSUED when it is done. The other changes don't mean a lot and vary from case to case. Another hint that you are close to Issued is where it said "Immigrant" will change to "nonImmigrant".

Once it says Issued, it takes around two days for the courier to receive it, package it up for delivery, and notify you. The courier gives you a tracking number. Delivery is almost always the next day after you get the email. The courier is not DHL. It is DX.

Thank you! And you are correct I think the DHL just stuck from the NVC to Embassy part. It does now say non-immigrant so we are hopefully close, fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Another point, at least in my experience. I picked mine up yesterday. I was expecting to hear from the courier directly to say they had it. I received an email from the Embassy saying the courier had picked it up. This email had the tracking number which when clicked on showed the date it was available (I chose the pick up option). The courier didn't contact at all, so don't panic if they don't, just collect it on the date it says. Which was the following day for me :)

Ours has finally been issued. We are hoping he can fly out here the 30th of October, so our fingers are crossed it arrives by Friday :)
