hi guys , this is my story I try to make it quick , in nov 2015 I filler i751 joint with my ex during the process we agreed to have a divorce because our relationship was not healthy due the problems , we file for a divorce and the application got denied because I did not have the divorce decree by the time the interview came jan 2017 , after that I got the letter of termination in Mars 2017, in june 2017 I got my divorce decree I refiled i751 waiver in aug 2017 and have my extension letter 12 month and recently the 6 month addition the new one also I stamp my passport last month my questions is:

 1- people who got approved what happen to NTA letter ? did it got cancel automatic or you still have to meet with immigration judge?.

 2- did anyone manage to travel outside the US during this process after the termination letter?

 thank you I really appreciate your help.

Personally, if I had a NTA letter, I wouldn't leave the country, and I WOULD hire an attorney.  Maybe others have other suggestions........following with interest.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

thank you for your answer, I do have an attorney but believe it or not people experience much better than what attorney can say they care only about your money and they want you to go the long way to stick with them as much as possible. many things is this process attorney did not suggest to do but people in this website experience help a lot and worked as provided.

I think some situations merit a legal professional while other situations do not.  Good Luck.
