I130 Mailing and Permanent Address section

Hi! We’re about to fill out our i130 form and would like to ask for advice about filling out the Mailing address and Physical address. The thing is he’s already leasing an apartment for more than a year now but he’s also staying at his parents’s house where he still gets his mails and packages. My question is can he put his parents’ address under Mailing Address and the apartment info under Physical address? The reason why we thought of this is because we want the apartment info to reflect on the form/docs cause we will be moving in together there once of course I get a visa. Maybe we can include this reasoning on our cover letter?  Thanks in advance!

yes you can put a different mailing address. thats why that section is there.

no explanation needed. Cover letter only needs to state what is enclosed in the packet you send.
