Someone over the age of 21 with an annual income of $1,500 is unrealistic.  That is $28 per WEEK. That does not buy food much less anything else.

Yikes. The judgement on this thread is real. I was making next to nothing as a college student when I petitioned my husband and I didn’t receive half of this vitriol.

 

OP, only you know your life and your financial status. Joint sponsors are completely valid and are used all the time.

 

As for the actual question you asked, I would just provide some sort of documentation showing that your income is below what needs to be claimed.

Any notice of this? Got the same respons. W2 for 2017 is required, but she was not even living in the US any part of the year, and had no income because of that.

She makes now 3 times the amound, all 2018 is accepted. We stated we had no income because she was living w me in Australia
