Apostilled Birth Certificate?

I know the clerks of court require a certified translation once you go to the US to get married on a k1, but do they also need the foreign birth certificate to be apostilled?

Perhaps is depending on the state. Texas doesn't require anything more than a valid ID....State or passport.

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

Check with clerk of the county you’re marrying at, requirements vary greatly.

 

edit: can’t remember being asked my birth certificate (or my usc husbands) or its translation in Clark county, nv. Remember being asked a translation in la crosse county wi, but a simple copy of the translation I had ordered was fine for them
