hi

its depend on case which kind of case you filed and after NOA2 you case will forward to NVC. You can check everything online with your case number.

It is the same case no as USCIS case no.? I applied for Parents as a US Citizen.

To give a better answer than that - call NVC and ask whether they received your petition from USCIS. They will either say 1.) Not received yet or 2.) Yes, received on .... or 3.) Received and a case number generated and they can give you the case # and invoice id. - these are NVC numbers and not related to USCIS receipt numbers.

 

It is currently taking between 20-30 days after NVC receives your case from USCIS to generate a NVC case #.
