Any Red Flags here? If so how do I overcome them?

- Naturalized  US Citizen from Africa, married to a black Dominican Republic man who is 11 years younger than me but you can't tell the age difference between us (I look like I'm his age)

 

- We met in Santo Domingo Fall of 2017 and married early 2018 (3-4 months later). His family, including parents and siblings, and my family attended the wedding. We had a court wedding, followed by a reception at a restaurant.

 

- He has no kids. I have one young son

 

- We have both never been married

 

- We both speak English

 

- We are both Christian in Faith

 

- I have a Master's Degree, he doesn't have a college degree

 

- I have never petitioned for a spouse or fiance visa before. This is my first time

 

- He has never been to the USA and has never applied for a USA Visa

 

- We have a strong chemistry and compatibility due to shared/common interests, similar family and personal values and goals in life

 

Is there anything I need to worry about ie age difference, time known each other before marriage, education level, Dominican country fraud etc?

The age difference (reverse) is a small red flag but you overcome it with plenty of evidence of time spent together in person,

Great, thank you. I have traveled to DR/Dominican Republic a couple of times before and after our wedding day. My son has also traveled there with me to meet his 2nd dad and we had a great time together as a family. I hope that helps...
