December of 2017 to today is only 9 to 10 months.  For K-1 it could be anyway now.  For CR-1 it could be any week!  If you fill out your timeline we can understand better where you stand.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

We applied in March, got our uscis notification later in March that it was being sent to California for processing and just got notice in the mail that our approval date was Sep 12 and we should hear from the nvc before 30 days. Haven't received anything yet though. I had no idea that it would take this long but you've waited longer.

I thought we had waited too long and somehow weren't going to be approved and we had already been planning on getting married here instead next year haha.  I was worried too because I'm staying with my fiance in the Philippines and haven't been working all year so my 1040 and W2 from last year are OK now but what if we don't get approved until next year and I didn't even work this year? Whoops!!!
