Hi guys,

Pls help.

I recently received my mom's NVC case number but i am confused on what to do next.

Can she schedule an appointment to St Lukes medical? What documents do we need to bring?

How does she set up a visa appointment to the US embassy at Manila. Can I be her translator and be there present during the interview in Manila?

The email is instructing me to create an account with www.ceac.state.gov/IV but i never did this process when I migrated to the US with a K1 visa.

Can anyone pls help me point out a step by step guide after receiving the MNL case number.

Thanks!

You need to do more research if you’re going to guide and represent your mom. There are tons of topics here covering almost anything for immigration purposes.

We don't know her capabilities so why do you assume she can do that research or that she hasn't already attempted and is confused? Your answer is better not said then tell someone to go do this or that research with no help on your part. Why not help her out with some direction with links or if you don't know the answer then don't reply.

  • 2 weeks later...

You dont have to do anything until NVC will contact you with their interview appointment. After u get their interview date then u can have them do their medical. You have to have the appointment letter for them to do their medical exam. I'm waiting for my parents interview date appointment now. I called NVC and they said they will contact me as soon as they will get to set up the interview date with manila consulate
