Biometrics Appointment Letter Received Yesterday

Yesterday afternoon was looking like just another regular afternoon for me. Until I got the mail.... :D

About 75 days after I got the mail confirmation on my AOS application package delivery, my biometrics appointment letter finally arrived in my mailbox! Note that for some reason there was a week and a half delay between the 'received date' and the 'notice date' on my preliminary USCIS notice of action forms, so perhaps USCIS would say that in their eyes only about 60 days passed before they got my biometrics appointment scheduled. But whatever....

It's in St. Louis on April 14th and I couldn't be happier. I will certainly enjoy the next month a whole lot more now, knowing that at least something in my future is certain now, after going so many weeks in this new year without knowing absolutely anything.

Can anybody confirm that USCIS (under normal circumstances) is still sending out EADs about a week or two after the biometrics appointment has been attended? I'm really anxious to get back to work - like probably so many others around here are also.

So for all those still waiting for a biometrics appointment to be scheduled..... just keep hangin' in there! I initially filed my AOS in early January. So I don't know if that gives you a bit of an idea of how long the current wait is or not... but regardless... good luck to all!!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
