Hello I was wondering how filing for the K1 visa would work now. I was in the process of doing the K1 for my Fiance he is from Haiti but just last month him and our babies moved to the Dominican republic. I didn't send the papers off yet because I didn't know what the process would be. He is now a resident of the DR. My question is will I be able to file everything there their medical and the embassy they would go there or will they have to go to Haiti for me to file? Thank you in advance

As long as he has permanent residency in the DR(not just staying on a tourist visa or something) you just will file the I-129f petition stating the country of his residence and the DR. The petition eventually after USCIS and NVC will go to the DR for interview stage. He will have to do all the medical and stuff in the DR. Also will have to obtain a police report from Haiti for that portion also to give to the embassy.
