Infopass appointment in New England/Rhode Island?

Hello all,

My fiancee lives in Massachusetts and we've been looking into booking an infopass appointment for a couple of days now but there are never times available in the Boston Field Office. That being said, we started looking into other field offices close buy such as Providence (Rhode Island) Field office since they have more appointments readily available. And providence is the same driving distance to my fiancees house as Boston is.

So we would like to schedule an appointment at the Providence Field office, but since its in a different state. We're worried they might not let us attend the appointment upon arrival.

Does any one know if we can go to the providence field office for an infopass appointment since its close to us, although in a different state?

Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Assuming this is for the K1, I doubt it matters which field office your fiancé goes to since it is not a field office processing the K1 application.  One trick into getting an infopass appointment is to look very early in the AM when they open a new day for scheduling.

Good Luck!

Yes, its for the K1. We've tried that but not luck yet lol. Today we did see one time pop up for 12:10 Pm on Wednesday but it was gone as soon as I refreshed the page. But Biggest problem with the Boston field office is exactly that. Random time show up and since my fiancee works all day, she need to plan ahead and preferably be there early morning in order to not miss work. And the providence field office shows appointments as early as 7:30 am. So that would be good because it wouldn't require her to take time off work.

The Lawrence ma field office always has appointments.

Yeah I checked Lawrence too and oddly enough they dont have any available appointments. And the Hartford CT field office isnt doing infopass for some reason. Providence is the one with the most available appointments with the closest being September 12th.

I was asking by I read an old post where lot of people that should have gone to the NY field office went to a nearby field office (I believe it was Connecticut) and they didn't let them in and told them that they had to schedule it in New York.

So she should be fine in attending the appointment in Providence?
