who signs the passport

ok so my son (3 weeks old) just got his US passport yesterday..

now i am wondering who signs it.. it says ''not valid until signed..''

i am pretty sure i have to sign cuz i am the mom..

but do i sign with his name, my name or our last name..

nobody signed my boy's passport and was fine when we left/entered US

i doubt the officer even looks. but just a guess, i'd sign your name. i'm sure everyone could figure out your baby couldn't sign it himself just yet.

gabby4ever, An unsigned passport is a very dangerous situation - imagine if it was stolen or lost!
