Rose will pick up our marriage certificate from PSA tomorrow afternoon.  I plan on filing the I-130s and I-130a as soon as she sends me the certificate.  I believe she is also picking up the CEMAR.

I did say on all three petitions that I previously filed for them.  I also added an explanation and I thought I would throw in the expungement paperwork too.  I want to be very open about my K-1 mistake.  Is this the best route to take?  I assume they will have the K-1 paperwork available to review during the CR-1 process.

I am so afraid of a denial that I know this is going to be a tough year of waiting.

Since Rose is not with me, to I call myself the I-130a preparer?

We are confident but wary.  Anything can happen so we may be looking at a "Plan C" if this doesn't work.  Rose and the kids have been amazing through this process or should I say processes?  We will end up together but I truly hope that is in the States.  I want AJ and Aira to have better opportunities than they will have in the Philippines.  No matter what, we will all be together somewhere!

You're trying to DO-DO again.

Never DO-DO when DO will DO.

There are no questions on the I-130 regarding past crimes.

Complete the I-130, included the REQUIRED documentation ... a proper form of payment for the fees .. then mail it off.     No DO-DO'ing

I was actually thinking more about an upfront explanation of the denial and less about the actual arrest.  I figure they may have questions so I wanted to get that out early in the process.  I want to minimize the impact of the denial as much as possible.

They won't have questions of you about the denial ... you are DO-DO'ing .     Stopping stressing.

K-I-S-S ... what did they ask for in the I-130 and the related instructions sheet...  that is IT.   If there is NOT a question regarding the "cause of the denial" don't DO-DO

Very good. I will answer that we were denied but not add anything they don’t ask for. Do I show that denial for all three petitions?  The kids were derivatives but they were also denied.

NO.  What does question 45 ask?   The answer is NO I believe.   so that section after answering 45 isn't relevant.

Do have your asawa get her passport renewed in her married name.   (Aseana is the only DFA office that has a functional appt system ;)  )

File the I-130 in her married name.

IF you use her maiden name... EVERYTHING will be completed in her maiden name, including her green card ... and you don't want that.

Questions 45 and 46 ask about visiting America. Question 47 asks for the passport number. She is attempting to make an appointment for the passport but so far it is months out. I am not sure where she is s checking. I will make a suggestion... 😉

Everything will be in her married name no matter what!

Right after question 45 is a simple sentence that starts with IF ...

Here is the deal.   IF you want to enter the passport number, then enter her current passport number... IF you really feel the need.     But that section is about having been or are currently in the USA.

Oh ya .. Aseana DFA office is over near MOA

That is the confusing part.  If they are or have been in the states the directions are to fill out 46a to 46d.  The passport number is question 47.

The earliest Aseana appointment is September.  She took and will check back for cancellations.  She believes there is going to be a 1 day passport day at the Pateros City Hall in July.  She is going to ask the councilman.
