Hi,

When we filed our AOS package, we put my husband's parents' house address as the mailing address since we knew we had to move out to new apartment in the same city.

(We did put our physical address as the apartment we lived in)

Now my question is, Do I need to still report for the change of address?

I've been seeing lot of people having issues of getting their notices after reporting change of address.

Should I still report it?

Thanks

Yes, according to the USCIS website you are required to report your change of address within 10 days (https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange).

Yes, I read the same terrifying things about the change of address.  I did a change of address 2 years ago for my wife's AOS and had no problems.

We did the same thing as you for my wife's ROC and are planning to submit a change of address when we move because 1) it's required and we don't want problems later in this process by not doing something that we are told is required and 2) We did it before and had no problems.

P.S. Don't forget your husband has to file a change of address form as well since he is the primary sponsor of your AOS.
