Success of expedited EAD/AP Request?

I am currently filing from TN to GC, in AOS right now. I have a potential job offer (with much higher pay) in the same organization I am currently with, but it is a different category than my original TN so I cant just switch. I would need the EAD to switch jobs. What are the chances that an expedite will succeed?

I have the following possibilities according to the expedite criteria:

1. Non-profit organization. I work for a non-profit university and the job would be operations. Does that count as a job for a "non profit organization within the interests of the US?"

2. FInancial loss: My husband and I are currently financially stable, but he just got into his dream top business school and will start in mid August. At this point, he will not be able to work full time anymore and I will "just barely" be able to cover the mortgage and basic bills with my much lower paycheck, unless he takes out cost of living loans to go with his education. Its not true financial loss, but we prefer not to go there if I can get a much higher paying job. By the time this happens, my job offer will probably go to someone else because they want the position filled sooner than later. Do you need to show current proof of financial loss, or is the job offer enough? We dont have any overdue bills or balances...

If in doubt expedite is my motto. Nothing to lose.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I'm in LA too. The expedite takes about 1 month. So once you completed the biometrics appointment, go file an expedition request sooner than later.
