Applying for parents-just -I130 needed?

Timeline

Hello everyone, im just now trying to make everything ready for my husband's parents to get grren card, they are out of USA in there country. So im little confused, all I need  is: 

  • Form I-130  (535 USD all together?)
  • A copy of your birth certificate showing your name and your mother’s name
  • A copy of your Certificate of Naturalization or U.S. passport if you were not born in the United States

 

that is it? I don't need form I485 and others? whats next steps? can someone pls guide me if the topic was discussed before with the instruction. thank you very much!!!

Is your husband a US citizen? If yes, he can petition his parents.

 

Just separate i130 for each parent for now, that means separate fee for each one. Parents marriage certificate is also required if petitioning for his father.

 

Once i130 is approved after lots of months, then NVC process and finally the visa interview process. No i485 process. You can see read the guides in this forum. 

 

May be around a year or more of total time till they get immigrant visa.

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

2016-05-16: N-400 NOA1

2016-05-26: Biometrics

2017-01-30: Interview

2017-03-02: Oath Ceremony

Can you guys check pls if I did all correct, I don't wanna miss something, at same time don't wanna overload it with any extra information:

1. form I-130

2.check 535 $

3. form  G1145

from my husband (he is a petitioner)

4.A copy of  Certificate of Naturalization 

5. A copy of U.S. passport 

6. A copy ofDivorce certificate - do I need it?

7. A copy of Current marriage certificate- do I need it?

8. 2 passport photos

 

from my husband's mother (she is a beneficiary):

1. birth certificate

2. Passport copy

3. marriage certificate (we are not applying for the father) - do I need it?

4. 2 passport photos- do I need it???

do we need to file biographical form for both? G 325 A

1-4 is good, add his birth certificate that shows his mom’s name. Items 5-8 Not Required.

None of the items (1-4 n G-325A) listed below are required.
