I-485 Request for evidence help needed!

Hello everyone, 

 

In November 2017 me and my husband got married, we then sent off all of the documentation. 

 

Yesterday we finally heard something but unfortunately it was our first ever "Request For Evidence" one of the things were.

 

- Submit all supporting tax documents for the most recent tax year. The petitioner/sponsor must submit all supporting tax documents for the most recent tax year.

 

(Although my husband being the petitioner did send off the tax documents to them so a little confused) but we will send them off again and triple check.

 

So my question is do you think I should also send my tax documents off from my previous work in 2017 just as extra of not necessary? 

 

Feeling stressed about it so i've taken to here hopefully in the search for help!

 

How is the journey for you all going? Anyone else in the same boat?

The RFE is asking for the tax docs of the petitioner so sending yours won’t help. What sort of tax docs were provided initially? Lack of one document will result in generic RFE like you got. So focus on what was lacking previously.
